Thoughts on the New Year

Message from Kuang:

2024 was a year of transformation.

In previous years, I was usually creatively overseeing Satellite's  projects—guiding edits, reviewing scripts, managing the process. But this year, I made a deliberate shift. Instead of solely being a creative manager, I dove back into the craft itself: making the edits, writing the scripts, directing the shoots.

That decision reminded me just how much I love the work—the art and process of filmmaking. While running a business and steering its growth has its rewards, I discovered that my true passion lies in being an active creator, solving problems directly through storytelling. I realized I’m, at heart, more of an individual contributor than a manager. And that’s okay—because it’s the work that fuels me.

I love starting with a client’s business challenge and uncovering a creative solution through a piece of content that truly delivers results.

For 2025, I’m doubling down on this. I want to be involved in every script, every edit, every shoot. I want to collaborate even more deeply with our clients to create solutions that not only meet their needs but exceed their expectations.

My goal is to craft products that amaze and delight—films and animations that don’t just tell stories but illuminate campaigns, showcase innovations, and solve business problems in ways that leave an impact.

That’s the energy I’m bringing into 2025: passion for the craft, dedication to excellence, and a focus on creating work that truly makes a difference. Here’s to a year of purpose, creativity, and collaboration. Let’s make it incredible.
